A week after India dropped bombs on Balakot, Pakistan, questions continue to be asked about what actually happened and whether the government and the ruling BJP are inflating their achievements for political gains.
After pulwama attack, the air strike was supposed to have been one of the biggest attacks on militants , Indian Air Forces crossed the Line of Control and dropped over 1000 kg of explosives over the largest JeM camps across borders.
Now, A fresh report from international news agency Reuters on Wednesday features images from a private satellite operator showing no discernible signs of an aerial attack on the madrasa.
High resolution satellite images by Planet Labs Inc, a firm based in San Francisco, show that at least 6 madrasas are still standing at the site of the bombing, 6 days after the attack. These images have been compared to those taken in April 2018 of the same site, and the current images look almost unchanged.
Now, American company is raising questions on the strike, wondering if it really happened? If the strike really took place, how are these madrasas still standing?
