Bollywood stars haven’t shied away from exploring their talents beyond acting. Bollywood has had many multi-talented actors since the time Indian Cinema came into existence.
Today, on World Music Day, take look at some actors who have not only surprised us with their acting chops but also mesmerized us with their soulful voice in different languages, besides Hindi.
1. Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar has given some golden moments to Indian cinema as an actor, a writer, a filmmaker, and a singer. Besides top Bollywood hit numbers and some English songs, he also sang for a Telugu film, Bharat Ane Nenu, starring superstar Mahesh Babu – titled I don’t know.
2. Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri Dixit ruled Bollywood for almost two decades. She is well known for her versatility. The actress is all set to make her international singing debut with a pop number. She has already recorded the songs for her album which will have six songs. She will release the first single from her English pop album by the end of the year.
3. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Former Miss World, Indian star, singer and now Hollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra has won hearts ever since she stepped into the Bollywood industry. In My City in 2012 won global applause, Our Desi girl also sang a Marathi song titled, Baba, in 2016 for her Marathi production, Ventilator.
4. Richa Chadha
Richa Chadha is well known for her power-packed performance. Last year, she made her debut as a singer by lending her voice for a Punjabi Pop song, Gwandian, in collaboration with International stars Dr. Zeus and Zora Randhawa.
5. Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi dabbling between Bollywood and South cinema has lent her voice for a Tamil film Jail last year. The actress at many occasions has displayed her singing skills leading her for a playback song in her own film.
