Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the oath of office and secrecy to the highest office in India. President Ram Nath Kovind has administered the oath of office and secrecy to PM Narendra Modi in front of 8,000 guests at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Ministers with Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also taken the oath of office and secrecy. This time too some new ministers have been given place in Modi cabinet. These include former Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar i.e. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. He has been given a place in the Union Cabinet.
BJP leader Rajnath Singh, party chief Amit Shah, senior leader Nitin Gadkari also were also sworn in as cabinet ministers along with Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Prakash Javadekar, Ravi Shankar Prasad and others.
