According to THE PRINT, Printing Rs 2,000 notes has been stopped by RBI.
This move comes in a bid to slowly reduce the circulation of the Rs.2000 notes.
But this does not mean this does not mean that the denomination will be invalid.
The Decision which was made in Modi Government at suspicion that it is being used in high denomination, hoard, tax evasion, and money laundering.
As we all know that shocking introduction of rs.2000 notes in November 2016, after the government did the demonetization process of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 because as government said that the old notes were being used as a black money. If we recall that timeline, every one is aware of it that how was the problem of massive cash shortage. After that the Indian government flooded the country with new Rs 2,000 notes.
In last April when many Indian cities reported a massive cash shortage. The government suspected cash hoarding for the state elections, also stocking of money by people.
